12/07/12: I sent these messages to my e-mail last night, too. What I wrote in them is about what the conglomerate is doing to me, the way that it treats me, how it violates me, and how I’m attacked as if I deserve what it’s doing to me. It is about the conglomerate and its behavior as a group.
My having constantly to defend myself about the same things year after year is part of the harassment and is like what defense attorneys for alleged rapists used to do routinely to the alleged victims:
‘Isn’t it true that you have had premarital sex, and with more than one partner in your life? Isn’t it true that you have seen a psychiatrist? Isn’t it true that you were friendly with my client prior to the time that you say he raped you? Didn’t you used to smile at him and say hello, and ask how he was? What was he supposed to think when you did that? You don’t know? You were just being friendly, polite, making conversation, I see.’ long and deliberate pause by the defense attorney so that his skeptical attitude toward the woman is felt by everyone in the room. Then he says ‘Do you think of yourself as beautiful? You don’t know; there seem to be a lot of things that you don’t know, and yet you’re sure that my client raped you. That’s why we’re all here, isn’t it? Because YOU SAY that he raped you. Yes, what? I can’t hear you, you’re talking so quietly as if you’re not sure. What did you say? You say he raped you. I know you say that; it’s why we’re all here. I asked you a very simple question; would you say that you’re beautiful? You don’t know how to answer the question? Why not? It’s a yes or no question with a yes or no answer. You don’t know what to say. I’ll ask something else; have other people told you that you’re beautiful? They have. Did my client ever say it? You don’t think so. Did you ever want him to say it? You never thought about it. Did you think that he thought it?’
